DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
Dear Friends,
Shadowland now enters its 27th season of live theatre in downtown Ellenville. Thanks to the support of people like you, we've managed to survive against the odds and grow into the premiere professional, Actors' Equity theatre in the region. We hope you can join us for another fantastic season!
Our season opens with the Irish comedy-drama THE SEAFARER, a thought-provoking play by Connor McPherson. Our second play is a World Premiere penned by C.C. Loveheart and John Simon - JACKASS FLATS. Mid-July explodes with a WWII Musical Comedy by Roger Bean, the author of last season's THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES. It's THE ANDREWS BROTHERS and it features some of the most popular tunes of the '40's. THE LADIES MAN is a hilarious French farce by Charles Morey, who freely adapted the original by Jacques Feydeau. The season closes with a searing psychological drama, MEDAL OF HONOR RAG by Tom Cole, which deals with the timely and timeless problems of post-war adjustment.
